Gradašnica Cave

Srpski  English

Gradašnica Cave is an outflow cave, 520 m long, with permanent hydrological activity. A water course with a fluctuating discharge flows through the main passage (“Glavni Kanal”). Along the left bank, a 1.5 m high terrace is formed in accumulated clastic material.

One of the particular characteristics of the Gradašnica Cave, by which it stands out among all Djerdap caves, is the presence of specific silicate formations on the walls of the Eastern Passage and Rimstone Dams Passage.
